Vale – Graham Storm

It is with great sadness that we inform members of the passing of our esteemed Foundation Member, Graham Storm (Stormy) on Tuesday 13th February 2024.

As well as being a Foundation Member, Graham served the Club in many capacities including as Executive Director. Greens Manager, Selector, Coach  and as a volunteer helping in most areas of the Club’s operation.

As a bowler, Graham won many Club Championships, including 4 singles titles at the Club as well as many other Club and Regional Championships.

He was part of the two Premierships that the No. 1 side won in 1985/86 and 1986/87 seasons, and played in excess of 600 games for the Club in both Saturday and Tuesday Pennant.

And of course we cannot forget the annual ‘Stormy’s Port Night’ held on the last Saturday of the home and away season.

Graham has requested that no funeral be held. However a Memorial Service will be held at a later date, we will inform members of these details in due course.

The Board of Directors, Bowls Committee and members pass their deepest condolences to Ashley and Family at this sad time.
