FRIDAY MEMBER’S NIGHT
Free nibbles at the club every Friday from 5-5.30pm with the free members’ draw taking place between then and 7pm. You have to be there to win.
FUN CARD NIGHT AT THE CLUB
A small but enthusiastic and vocal group attended the first card night on Thursday 6th Feb. Most are novices although there may have been a few sharks at the table. If you ever wanted to learn Texas Holdem Poker now’s the time! It’s on again EVERY Thursday at 6pm.
Thanks to Carey Rudd and Clive Thomas for running the night and teaching us a few tricks. Lots of fun to be had and a great get together for all card game lovers.

TRIVIA NIGHT WITH A DIFFERENCE
The social committee is introducing a lively electronic based trivia night on Friday 28th Feb hosted by QuizzaMe with tickets at only $20pp. The event will commence at 7pm following the weekly raffle, nibbles and members draw. Please make every effort to raise a team, show off your knowledge and support the club to raise funds. If successful we are hoping to repeat this on a regular basis.
GOURMET CURRY NIGHT
For those who like spicy food (ranging from mild to hot), a gourmet curry night including Indian, Japanese, Sri Lankan and Thai curries is planned for Saturday 29th March commencing around 6.30pm. The meal will include pappadams, naan bread and rice. Something different to tantalize your taste buds. Please add your names to the attendance list at the club for catering purposes.
Westernport Fishing Trip 12th January 2025
Early January saw a club fishing trip out of Westernport on board the Flying Fish II. Nineteen club members and guests braved the wet weather to have a great day catching 43 whiting, one flathead and numerous puffer fish. Rob Waghorn taking home the inaugural and expensive trophy for the biggest fish.
A few members have already asked when the next trip is to take place so in order to gauge further interest please let Clive Thomas or Nigel Stone know if you’re keen.
